The restoration was done about 20 years ago, of this restoration there are many pictures available showing that everything was done, body off. This Healey was newly delivered in New York and has been in the Netherlands since 1993. The car is painted in British Racing Green with Old English White sides. The last 3 years there have been several technical adjustments to improve reliability such as a heavy duty radiator, steering box overhauled, disc brakes at the front, callipers with double pistons, a revised 3.9 differential is placed. The car is all around on new Vredestein Sprint Clasic tires and the chassis is completely treated with Dinitrol, rust is no longer possible. The 2600 engine has recently been completely overhauled, the engine is equipped with higher compression, the flywheel is 6 kilogam lighter, which gives it so much more punch, fast road camshaft, spaghetti manifold, electronic ignition, modern screw oil filter, aluminum caterpan, high torque Powerlite starter motor and side exhaust. There are very clean sidescreens present and the black vinyl hood is nice and tight and closes fine. The cockpit can also be closed with the included full tonneau cover. The interior is beautiful, the dash is nice and as original with all the correct, perfectly working gauges. The seats have new foam and are upholstered in black leather. Most importantly, this Healey drives wonderfully, the powerful 6 cylinder sounds fantastic and the overdrive transmission works flawlessly.
