We’ve found another one. A stunning Austin Healey Sprite, the so-called “Frogeye.” This “frog” was built in 1960 and is finished in British Racing Green with a very rare Old English White hardtop. The car has been fully restored in the past and is still in excellent condition. It’s a very well-maintained classic; everything has been built to factory specifications—wonderfully original. The paintwork on this Sprite is fantastic—an incredibly glossy green finish with very clean seams. Not a speck of rust can be found on this Frogeye. The car is equipped with the original 948 engine, which was completely rebuilt at the time. The transmission was also overhauled back then and works great—no creaking, just smooth shifting. It’s fitted with two SU carburetors that are in perfect condition. The interior has been kept as original as possible; everything is as it came from the factory, including a new set of black carpets, a very rare original factory hardtop, and a black vinyl-upholstered dashboard. The car has black vinyl side screens in very good condition. The seats and trim panels are upholstered in black vinyl. The leather sports steering wheel feels great in your hands, ensuring optimal handling. The car is very well-maintained and in excellent mechanical condition—a turnkey example.
