A stunning 1971 MGB, originally imported from the Netherlands, in Old English White with overdrive. An MG featuring the highly sought-after vintage European steel dashboard. This MG is a very well-maintained driver’s car, the result of a somewhat older restoration. The Old English White paint job is very neat with beautiful, clean seams. What a gorgeous color it is for a classic B. The mechanical condition of this early MGB is excellent. It has a super-smooth engine and a flawlessly shifting overdrive transmission. The car has recently been serviced; it drives, brakes, and shifts just as it should. The MG is equipped with the more powerful Weber carburetor conversion, which really does provide a bit of extra power. The car comes with a folder containing the complete invoice history from the last owner, who owned and cherished it for 26 years. The car sits on painted spoke wheels—which used to be an option straight from the factory—and is fitted with a beautiful black vinyl soft top. A vinyl hood cover with red piping neatly covers the folded-down top. The seats are upholstered in black leather with red piping. A full tonneau cover is available to cover the cockpit without closing the top. The chrome trim all around is in excellent condition. The cockpit gets a slightly sportier look thanks to the leather Moto Lita steering wheel, a factory option from the ’70s. This is what you’d call a hassle-free, turnkey classic.
